Adolescent & ADULT TherapisT

It takes a lot of courage to look at life’s challenges and how they affect us. Needing support only means that you are human on a journey of self growth trying to navigate all the complexities life has in store.

My own journey with therapy began in childhood and proved to be extremely valuable in my life. Having that support early on shaped how I understand myself, relationships, and the healing process. I learned that I was not alone in my experience and it is also where I first learned about neurodivergence. This experience helped me turn many of these traits I felt shame towards into strengths. It also created a lasting passion for this work because of showing me how meaningful it can be to feel heard, understood, and supported.

I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with experience working with adolescents, young adults, and adults. Throughout my career, I’ve worked in community mental health, substance use treatment, and trauma-focused settings, supporting clients with a wide range of challenges and needs. I value utilizing a person centered and trauma-informed care lens with my clients to create a safe, nonjudgmental, and comfortable space. I also integrate other factors that may contribute to mental health such as LGBTQ+ identity, lifestyle, socioeconomic factors, social/cultural context that may shape your experiences.

I aim to create a space where you don’t have to perform, have it all figured out, or push through on your own. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or simply looking for more balance, we’ll work together to better understand your experiences and find a path forward that feels sustainable and authentic to you.

What Makes me Human

  • I love being outside and enjoying nature. Some of my favorite ways are through cycling, hiking, and backpacking. I am also a big sports fan! I especially love baseball season. I grew up an Oakland A’s fan (they will always be Oakland in my heart), but am embracing the Seattle Mariners.

  • I tend to incorporate music references in my sessions. Music can be such great therapy! I am also way more picky about coffee than I am willing to admit.

  • I used to be competitive in Olympic Weightlifting up until a couple years ago. Now I just prefer to be outside!
