Taking the steps to seek support and imagining change in one's life is difficult. Your presence here reflects a hope for a more fulfilling and purposeful life.

My goal is to support individuals who are seeking to show up authentically in all parts of their lives. I strive to foster a collaborative therapeutic environment where clients feel understood and receive support through a culturally sensitive lens that recognizes their unique intersecting identities. I work with people who desire to create a life that is less controlled by their reactions and more a product of their intentions. I use evidence-based techniques to empower clients to regain direction in their lives and clarity of their full potential.

During sessions, I may pull from various therapeutic techniques informed by different theoretical models. The therapy model that most strongly relates to my therapeutic style is Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). This model is similar to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in that it challenges the negative beliefs and patterns one holds and works to replace them with more productive thoughts and behaviors. The key difference is that DBT incorporates elements of acceptance and tolerance to address challenges that are beyond our control.

My professional and personal experiences have shown me time and again that therapy can create extraordinary change. I've watched people move from surviving to thriving, discover unexpected resilience, and build lives that truly reflect who they are. Having experienced this transformation myself and witnessed it reshape countless lives, I am confident in both the therapeutic process and the incredible potential within each person. I'd be honored to support you on your journey toward greater authenticity and fulfillment.

What Makes Me Human

Hobbies
When I'm not working, you'll find me exploring new restaurants and sipping on boba tea. Boba is one of my favorite beverages and the namesake of my black French Bulldog. I spend most of my free time with my two needy fur babies: Boba and my spicy rescue cat King Louie who keeps life interesting.

Quirks
I love playing games but absolutely dread the process of learning new ones. I'm definitely not volunteering to tackle those instruction manuals! Thankfully, my partner is excellent at figuring out the rules and teaching me how to play. Once I get it, I'm all in and my partner has learned that I'll be the last one to get burnt out on any new favorite.

Fun Fact
I got certified as an open water diver with my dad when I was 14. Our first dive was in the frigid Puget Sound, where we needed full dry suits and hoods to survive the cold! Since then, I've continued diving on vacations in much warmer waters and have had some incredible encounters: swimming with manta rays, playing with an eel, and even watching a shark up close.
